Garage Floor Coatings
A dull, scratched or hot-tire-marked coating can often be sanded and given a new topcoat, saving a full replacement.

Garage coatings take a beating. Hot tires, road salt, scraping tools and sunlight can leave a floor looking dull, scratched or stained. If the coating below is still bonded to the slab, a recoat can restore the shine without starting over.
We inspect existing floors in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee to see whether the bond is sound. If it is, we sand or lightly grind the surface, repair chips, and apply a new topcoat, often in polyaspartic for scuff and sunlight resistance. If the coating is failing, we explain when removal is the better path.
What you get
We check that the old coating is firmly attached to the slab.
The surface is scuffed and chips and cracks are filled.
New clear or tinted topcoat restores gloss and protection.
If the coating is peeling, we say so and discuss removal.
The process
We test adhesion and look for peeling, chipping and moisture signs.
Sand or grind, repair damage and clean the floor completely.
A fresh layer goes down, then cures before use.
FAQ
Only if it is still well bonded. Peeling or bubbling coatings must be removed first.
If we use a clear topcoat the color stays. A tinted topcoat can change or refresh the look.
Usually, because the grinding is lighter and the base layers are already in place.
